I think the aliens don't "burn up from the inside" because they have some sort of natural immunity to their own defense mechanisms. the same way alot of animals do. (spiders dont stick to their own webs, snakes are immune to their own venom, etc.) plus their own body tissue might have some slight acidic qualities that would stop the corrosion.
these are just my thoughts...

It was entertaining. But it was wated potential.
No fucking shit the xenomorph is immune to thier own acid. We see in Alien 4 the other xenos cut up one of thier siblings and they are not affected by the acid.
Jesus why does anyone need to state that "well, I think this and that" when it's plainly obvious the xenos are adapted to resist thier own blood. |
