between the title gimmick and the Rodriguez and the Danny Trejo and the separation from the AvPs, it's all full of win, but i really don't like how they completely ignore the Danny Glover sequel, which was awesome and deserves more respect.

I still think Predator 2 is one of better sequels out there. Along with Terminator 2 and Aliens. So yeah, it would really kinda suck if they ignored it's existence.

From what I've read, I think this is an entirely separate line of movies. I like the premise of the Predators stealing a bunch of humans (that probably would have died, given their circumstances) and putting them on another planet to hunt them. It might be the first Predator movie I see since the sequel with Glover.

I like the fact that theyve given them heavy and powerful weapons (by human standards of course. That AA12 isnt going to do shit). This movie looks interesting. Ill be following this.

I'm on the fence about this. I mean, Adrien Brody? He looks like he couldn't beat his way out of a wet paper bag, and he's supposed to be worthy prey?

On the other hand, Robert Rodriguez knows how to direct an action flick. Maybe I'll catch a matinee, maybe I'll wait for cable. Not sure yet.
