I saw this few weeks ago at the Angelika. Its about 2 chinese lesbians and the whole chinese family dynamic that involves. Being chinese, I don't normally give a crap about movies like Joy Luck Club, but this one was really well written with believable and funny dialogue. Pretty much any movie with Joan Chen is bound to be good. Plus the two main actresses are HOT and there's a steamy nude love scene.

It was supposed to take place in NY, but i have the feeling it was shot in toronto or something. Not sure. But the funny thing is the main character took a subway over a bridge to get to Flushing, but no subway goes over a bridge to get to Queens.

If you see it, definitely go to the AMC in Times Sq, the Angelika sucks ass

The benefits are twofold. One, the actresses are good, so its believeable, not 2 bored looking pornstars.
And B: it could be considered a "chick flick" so you get bonus points for bringing your girlfriend to see it.

And the movie itself is generally enjoyable. Lesbian love scene is just a bonus. =D
