Been playing a bit of Dragon Age on the 360. Feels like Two worlds with a decent story and party dynamics. Played for a good bit and am feeling a little bored with it. So, I started Borderlands (also 360). Lots of fun. Anyone else give these a try? _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

BL is too cartoony for my taste. Though a friend of mine DID find a Beretta .50 cal next to 300 rounds for it in the game... _________________ Clueless and the Grammer Unerwnschte

The Bioware logo on the box of DA:O makes me wanna buy it, while Borderlands seems endlessly fun |

I'm definitely getting Borderlands somewhere in the not so distant future. _________________

It seems that Dragon Age (according to the reviews) is better on the PC than console (yeah, I know -- many say that for every game). I am disappointed with the graphics of DAO. Especially the hands. They pale in comparison to Mass Effect. Borderlands is fun. Having said that, I am beginning to wonder about the whole leveling thing. It appears everything respawns. Granted, I am still low level, but there are some missions -- "kill Scar". Scar is like a big radioactive dog. Every time I re-enter the Scar "zone", I get to kill him, again. Not sure I like that (aside from the xp). _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

DAO on consoles isn't inferior just graphics-wise.
The game itself is completely different.
Its like they made 2 different games with the same engine and gave console owners the crappier one |

Why in the hell does console (and pc to some extent) Dragon Age look so bad after Mass Effect looked sooooo good?
I don't play games on my pc, but 360 versions of games have NEVER failed me before, 'til now.
I'm still getting it though. 8.5 out of 10 from Gamespot still aint shabby. Though 9.5 is surely better. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Why? Seems like a poor choice to me. Naturally, a game that is the scale of Dragon Age is not going to look as good as Mass Effect no matter what, but it could have been a tad bit closer. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

A couple of weeks ago I downloaded the add-on to Borderlands. I think i was called Dr. Ned's Zombie Island. Anyway, good add-on. Not only do you get a touch of Fallout in this game (main game of Borderlands) you also can add a bit of Left 4 Dead. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

| I haven't looked around for any, but I'm sure there are plenty of zombie mods for Fallout 3. About half a year ago I stumbled upon an article reviewing something called Left4Head and realized pretty much everything already exists. |

Why would you even want a zombie mod for Fallout 3? Just go into the Dunwich building or your average metro tunnel and voila. _________________

| It doesn't help when you've done Shoot 'Em in the Head early and walked through the entire game with the ghoul mask on. Which is what I did. |

Well, it is funny to walk up on a ghoul with that mask on and then give him a shotgun blast to the face. Besides, the minute you get the T-51B and a fully repaired Chinese Assault Rifle, who cares about ghouls. _________________

Well there is this mod.
Pretty creepy at night if youve got the Enhanced Weather Mod.
I must say the Zombie Apocalypse Mod is the best zombie mod for Fallout ive seen. The secound is the Nazi Wasteland. That ones a bitch. Fucking Nazi Zombies armed with dismounted 25mm AA guns... _________________ Clueless and the Grammer Unerwnschte
