I haven't seen it yet.
Or Up.
Or the ending to the third Back to the Future.
And Gurren Lagann (but no one cares about that).
Anyway, what I have seen lately is Forrest Gump, when it was on T.V. a few days ago. |

or as close to it as a movie possibly can.
the most fascinating thing about it is when you realize that its romantic plot has more depth, heart and, indeed, humanity to it than a vast majority of movies out there. and i simply loved how it hardly uses any dialogue to achieve it.
truly, a modern masterpiece. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Just watched Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. Possibly the greatest adventure film ever. I realized what made it work: the subtle facial expressions and reactions from the cast. That's what really humanized them. Also the fact that the plot was great and the action is still as exciting as ever (possibly more so since there wasn't any CG).
I wonder if they'll ever actually give up CG for a blockbuster for once. _________________

I was watching the Lion King. Great movie.
Considering watching Dead Snow, the Host, Gone Baby Gone, Wall-E, Zombie Land, and Gran Torino.
I was told I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them, so yeah. |

Wait, you have the choice to watch either Wall-E or Gran Torino and you end up with the Lion King? How did that happen? _________________

I don't know this movie, but I had a curious thought after reading the title? Wouldn't "Living Snow" just be the best title evah. Maybe "Undead Snow", even? _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Is it part of the Hot Pussy in the Cold Snow movies?
You know, that one, and then Cold Pussy in the Cold Snow, followed by Frozen Pussy in the Cold Snow. _________________

Iron Man
i feel like picking a fight so i'll say it was a much more accomplished, interesting, and plain entertaining superhero flick than the pretentious Dark Knight. there.
i also saw The Incredible Hulk recently. it was fun, silly, but fun. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Meh, Unbreakable is still the best superhero movie out there. _________________

Twice now they get the ending wrong. Was he smiling because he learned how to use the Avatar State whenever he wanted? It's been ages since I've seen the movie so maybe I'll go check it out again... |

next in my current quest to catch up with the recent comic book flicks, i've stumbled upon Punisher: War Zone. what a terrible, terrible, terrible movie.
it had me groaning out loud throughout and constantly looking away - not at the splattering brains, mind you, but the incredibly cheesy dialogue and hammy acting.
avoid at all cost.

i think i'll check out the 2003 Hulk soon, just to compare the two.
i don't think i'll be looking into the previous Punisher movie, though. and to think they made that many adaptations for a character that's so unexciting in the first place _________________ i have no time for anal love

The ending for the '03 flick is no better.
Never seen any of the Punisher films, and I don't think I will. Unless one of them is actually kinda good. I don't know much about them anyway. |

Superman Returns. yawn.
allow me to recycle my Quantum of Solace sentiment: it's not that it's terrible. it's just that it's boring.
this movie tries to be too damn monumental for its own good. sure, it looks really stylish, but ultimately it's like an elaborately decorated Easter egg - nice to look at, but empty inside.
imagine a superhero movie devoid of any action and excitement. add to this the melodramatic, family friendly feel and the rather retarded story with a cartoonish villain, and there you have it - a long, slow and tedious experience.
everybody'd have been better off if Bryan Singer had just done the third X-Men instad. like he was bloody supposed to. _________________ i have no time for anal love
