I've been seeing some TV commercials for this. Apparently, they are calling it "AvP R," where I guess the "R" is for "R-rated?" I don't know, but I was very confused by this.

Anyway, it opens on Christmas day, apparently.

Also this movie's actually looking pretty good now. I'm still a little more hyped for I Am Legend though...

I saw it today.

I believe it's better than the first one. But unfortunately, not much better...

The story seemed weaker than the first film, but the action is really what made it stand out. It was really freakin' violent and bloody, perhaps just as bloody as the original Alien and Predator films. Smile

I think the best improvement from Requiem over the original is there was definitely more AvP going on.

What I also really loved is how the film really ties-in both of the series together, plot-wise for the hopefully next installment

I finally watched this movie on cable while downstate at a math conference. Let's just say that there were a lot of annoying things in the movie that made little sense.
