Seeing that it's quickly becoming forum tradition to announce a period away from the computer longer than three days, i hereby let it be known that i'm currently spending the night in a hostel in Warsaw (remember that i live on the coast) in order to get on a plane tomorrow that will take me all the way to <drum roll> Bei-muthafuckin-jing. It's in China, btw.
It's happening under the pretext of a belated honeymoon trip, which is more like honeyfortnight in our case, or not even that.
Anyway, be back around Sep 10 (unless that nasty Chinese communism takes down all my teeth, of course). So behave, because i'll know what you did this summer.

If you go by a food vendor, buy the roasted(deepfried?) thing on a stick that looks like the horrific lovechild of a chicken and some Australian insect. I hear they're delicious.

had some other deepfried (depraved?) stuff though, and that nasty sweet syrup oozing fruit shish kebab.
