Holy three year old thread, Batman. I got:
Gods of War Arise - Amon Amarth
Dreaming - System of a Down
Exile - Slayer
Lawman - Motörhead
Braineaters - The Misfits
Dear Canada - Mike Park
Snakecharmer - Rage Against the Machine
Hey - Pixies
Halloween - Alkaline Trio
Fixation on the Darkness - Killswitch Engage
Even randomer than the last time. Probably to be expected given the amount of music on my hard drive. _________________

Sven Väth - "The Day After"
The Pet Shop Boys - "New York City Boy"
Transglobal Underground - "Rude Buddah"
Portishead - "Biscuit"
Public Enemy - "Terminator X to the Edge of Panic"
Pet Shop Boys - "Somewhere"
Pet Shop Boys ft. Phil Oakey - "This Used to Be the Future"
DJ Shadow - "Blood on the Motorway"
Passengers - "Always Forever Now"
Justice vs Simian - "Never Be Alone"
According to this accidental playlist, I'm pretty much stuck in the nineties. Oh well, it was a nice decade.
Also, I'm a bit surprised. Normally, when I put the iPod function on shuffle, my iPhone shows an intrigueing preference for Depeche Mode and the more sexually explicit songs by Madonna. As usual, however, it choses to ignore the large number of U2 songs I have on it. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

6 - Slipknot - Disasterpiece
7 - Reservoir Dogs - Coconut
8 - At The Throne Of Judgment - Outro
9 - The Trashmen - Surfin' Bird

Returning the compliment by doing the same.
Also:
Depeche Mode - "World in My Eyes"
Howie B - "Cry"
Kylie Minogue - "Can't Get You Out of My Head"
Leonard Cohen - "I'm Your Man (Live)"
Portishead - "Toybox"
Underworld - "Jueanita/Kiteless/To Dream of Love"
Tricky - "Suffocated Love"
New Order - "Touched by the Hand of God"
Prince - "Thieves in the Temple"
Duke Ellington and the Washingtonians - "East St. Louis Toodle-Oo"
My iPod still has no love for U2. I swear, all of their albums are on it, but it just refuses to play their songs. It seems rather heavily infatuated with mid nineties trip hop instead.
And it just happened to play the best pop song in the history of music as well, there. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Nine Inch Nails - Meet your Master
Photek - Hybrid
Joy Division - Transmission
PJ Harvey - Cat on the Wall
Dizzee Rascal - Live O
Yo-Yo Ma - JS Bach Cello Suite #1 Movement 5, Menuetto _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

Definitely "Can't Get You out of My Head". That song is a modern masterpiece. It's got everything right: its moodiness yet tongue-in-cheek-ness at the same time, production that should be voted a wonder of the world, etc. etc.
And, finally, someone who agrees that No Line on the Horizon is not what the lads and Eno want us to believe it is. I didn't even bother to buy it (And I did buy How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb!)
And yes, Aurelyn is right. After the songs they wrote for the Million Dollar Hotel soundtrack nothing much worth of our attention came out of them (though I did like "Electrical Storm") _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

maybe. or maybe i'm just too partial to oldschool to acknowledge anything as "best pop song ever" other than Smooth Criminal or possibly Vogue.

agreed on all fronts. i also suckered myself onto buying All That You Can't... and How To Dismantle..., but finally learnt to stand up for my taste this time around. _________________ i have no time for anal love
