I thought they were both pretty shabby. But the first was deffo better.

The second was a non stop disappointment, with too many references to the other alien /predator movies.

The first one is also my fave. But I did like the second one. Showed us different weapons the Yautjas used. Also it showed the homeworld of the Yautja.

It also showed a supposedly "elite" Yautja who was supposed to clean up some mess, but only made it grow into a bigger mess.

Ah well, at least we got some "acid" deaths out of it.

I have yet to see either movie, I have read a load of the books in each series and the ones combining.

Those books are better than the movies to be honest. I read a whole bunch of them and some of them are really good movie material I think.

The first one had more in the way of story, I guess, and the book was pretty good, but the second one is slightly more entertaining.

The difference between the two is like dog shit and cat shit, though, still shit.

The first does have better characters, the second tries harder with the plot and has better action.

Yeah, the novels were awesome. I wouldn't even mind seeing a film based on some of the Alien novels. Like the one with the drug factory planet which surface is covered with millions of Xenomorphs...
