“She does this thing with her extra pair of arms…”

December 9, 2008 at 2:35 pm

The fact that she’s reading a map is a nice touch.

December 9, 2008 at 2:53 pm

Love it! So good to see you working on aLp again. It’s sheer brilliance!

December 9, 2008 at 3:31 pm

this is funny :P

December 9, 2008 at 4:33 pm

Who knew Abe’s mom was so old, she keeps pretty good for an alien of her age and experience. I wonder if she’d consider a manage-a-trois?!?

December 9, 2008 at 4:51 pm

ALP has yet to have a bad strip. I have laughed at every one.

December 9, 2008 at 5:06 pm

Having fun with your new figure, I take it? Heh.

December 9, 2008 at 5:21 pm

First this made me homesick, then I LOLed out loud!

I just imagine De Niro asking to Abe`s ma:

“Are you talking to ME?”

I like the black and white, compositions.

Ma is great as a character. I would like to see her more often.

December 10, 2008 at 4:35 am

THis is by FAR your pest.

Up the resolution, and let me purchase it in A0 poster size.

I want to own!

December 10, 2008 at 4:36 am

Best. I meant best.

Although pest could be considered as an honorary title – are aliens insects?

December 10, 2008 at 11:15 am

Awesome. You realise you have to make a poster of it now, right?

Ah…damn. I see DukeP said that already. Well, then, the vote’s unanimous!

December 11, 2008 at 1:38 pm

Bernie, your comic has always been one of my all time favorites. I’ve been a huge Alien fan since the 3rd grade (yeah, I saw the first Alien in 3rd grade and it changed my life) AND a New Yorker all my life. This comic made my day, and I’ll never be able to look at my McFarlane Queen on my shelf again without thinking of this comic, which is a good thing.

Thank you and keep it up! =^)

The Haring one is brilliant.

Vince, I cudlon’t agree with you more. This movie was a complete surprise and, as you mentioned, genuinely fun. Brody’s brief bit as Dali was excellent and Stoll’s Hemingway might be the best thing I’ve seen all year. I dont’t know what’s worse, though; McAdams, her family and friends or the thought/fact that people like them actually breathe our air.
