you know, to be fair. The price difference between the small and the ENORMO size is really minimal. It’s like $6 for a small coke vs $6.30 for the ENORMO coke.

But also to be fair, they charge like 6 bucks for a THIMBLE while the giganto size is bigger than your leg. Which apparently costs just 30 cents more.

And you notice they offer free refills on these soda buckets? Like anyone’s gonna finish one, and actually get out of their seat to go get another gallon?

OK Bernie, what’s up with all the product placement? That’s two strips in a row with the Coke already. I’ma tell everyone that aLp sold out to the Man… ;)

Not that I mind that, Oliver. I prefer Coke to Pepsi.

Actually, I am more annoyed that Bernie is still using 2004 as his copyrighting date.

Take it easy. He’s probably busy figuring out the answer to where Zeev and Boris went.

Woohoo, I wish EVERY day was Give Bernie a Hard Time Day!

The great thing about the forums is – every day CAN be Give Bernie a Hard Time Day!!

Oliver and Stu, giving Bernie a hard time since 1986. 8)

Um, but not in a gay way!!

Heh, O, I’m listening right now to FNM’s Epic. Ah, the good ol’ days!

Well, I don’t know about you and Stu. ;)

I got to lay down the bass line for “Falling To Pieces” in my heavy metal cover band frosh year. Ah, memories!

It’s alive, afraid, a lie, a sin. It’s magic, it’s tragic, it’s a loss it’s a win!

I too prefer coke over pepsi.

Also if Bernie has sold out to the man than I am sure he is well paid for it. Or at least moderatley more than underpaid.

Any movie about the Transformers that is “live action” is using the term rather loosely… that is, unless they film the actors as usual and then morph them into actual cars when they transform. If that’s the case, my vote for Starscream is Christopher Walken.

My favorite move that some theaters did is rename the “small” sizes to “child.” As if someone would really be embarrassed buying a “child” sized popcorn and opt for larger…

Super size me!

No! Not a live action Transformers movie! There goes another childhood memory ruined by current day Hollywood.

No, that’s for starving college students who get the huge cup, fill it with something, and go home. When they run out, they go to the theater, fill up, and repeat. It’s quite ingenious, really.

I concur. With the shitty wording from the CEO of Hasbro (He said: “Our alignment with Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy demonstrates the power of our TRANSFORMERS brand and our determination to leverage our properties aggressively and creatively.”) You just KNOW it’s going to suck.

(I got all randy about people talkin’ 2005 movies that I created a new thread and moved the posts there, in the Entertainment forum. Carry on…)

Leverage???

Is he a friggin’ Scientologist? The last time I heard that word, unnecessarily, it was in that awesome  blockbuster “Battlefield Earth”.

Good morning all, I am European. I am moved to sign-up and pay homage to ALP.

What a work of art with a wonderful sprinkling of NY wit and charm wrapped up in a SCI/FI dream but is ultimately about two scumbags – not that you would say that to their faces…

Well done indeed.

On the matter of Transformers, mentioned a few posts back – check this out -

Try downloading it first. Right click the link and select Save Target As…

Very funny particularly if you’ve been at the “cookie jar” or found some exotic oregano.

OH, my GOD, that commercial is amazing. It’s like my favorite video clip link EVER. I’ve watched it like 10 times already. I hope the “live action” Transformers movie is at least .000002% as cool as this. THANKS!

I once worked at a Loews….the only theater so horribly mis-managed that once a week for three months, something burst into flames. Six months of pure, unending agony that cry out in favor of universal genocide.

Hi bernieh,

Glad you liked the commercial – now do you want to buy a transforming Citroen motor car? Only US$ 5,000,0000.00!!!

Best wished

I wonder if Starscream is as annoying in real life as he is on TV….nah, just the human characters were annoying, and some of the stupid lines the transformers had to say. there is a lesson that needs to be learned for both the AVP and transformers movies…less people, less storyline, AND MORE KICK ASS ACTION SCENES!
