I’m a first time reader and all I can say is HOT DOG!!!! It’s in my favs.
Xeno.MorphMarch 14, 2005 at 10:45 am
Oh ehm gee. I didn’t get the end until you had to go “I’m sorry!” in the comment underneath it… Now I visualized it and can’t make it go away… Thanks a lot…
Heh. Pretty funny though. Why don’t they just ask Jesus? Hey, I bet he’d enjoy the movie A L (|) E N. As long as it isn’t from Abe’s “collection.”
ChocoBeanMarch 14, 2005 at 12:21 pm
=D well, why don’t they watch some nature documentaries together?
If they go for some animal planet series like “world’s best killers” and the like, Preston might get a big of a knowledge kick out of it, Abe will cheer for the kill, and Jesus can look at his own handiwork going after other fuzzier, cuter handiwork of his!
[animals have no conscience/soul so killing/violence in the animal world isn't evil, so jesus should enjoy looking at how nature runs too]
desert_drumMarch 14, 2005 at 12:56 pm
OK, that made me spit Diet Sierra Mist (oh, excuse me, Sierra Mist *Free* now) at my monitor. Thanks for the wallpaper, too :)

1) The Tao of Pooh does have pictures.
2) The Tao of Pooh is an unpleasantly anti-intellectual book
3) Please do not make any effort to “clean up” this strip. It’s a brilliant strip– I love it.
acroiguanaMarch 14, 2005 at 6:21 pm
Its funny because I didn’t even get the joke until after I read the apology.

Must be sleepy. Had to read it again to get it. And I LOVES me some porn!
But c’mon–Jesus and his daddy created a system where they see everything. That means they LIKE TO WATCH.
frozeninalaskaMarch 15, 2005 at 3:08 am
Just to let you know, your strip is awesome…..and one more thing, whoever told him hes gonna burn….im gonna hunt you down with a baseball bat…..this is some good stuff….ahem…sorry about that….I love the strip and keep up the good work
Aliens!March 15, 2005 at 12:03 pm
The slogan on Abe’s version of the movie Aliens:
Aboard the ship Tender Thighs, no one can hear you scream.
Starring Bernie H.!
PythonessMarch 17, 2005 at 3:26 pm
Hey, I’ve got the big book of all the Pooh stories… and the strip still cracked me up.
Of course, you are PERSONALLY responsible for my suddenly trying to imagine the pictures you’d find in “The Kama Sutra of Pooh” :P

I am so slow, it took me a week to get the third panel. However, I enjoyed the first two panels right off. I especially liked “The Godfather.”
nuggetsMarch 21, 2005 at 7:49 pm
not the best but good!
AlexandraAugust 17, 2005 at 7:13 pm
The third panel got me on a two second delay. (“What collection? Why is Poo being stuck supposed to be funn… O MI GOD”)
This is not your funniest. The one where Abe says it’s impossible to pee and sneeze at the same time is the funniest. But this one was the second funniest.
And I appreciated both the apology and the promise not to be so raunchy in the future. It inspires my trust in your judgment. :) You were absolutely right. This comic was so very wrong, and yet it had to be done.
And since this is my first time posting on your forums, allow me to comment that one of the things that keeps me coming back is (aside from the fact that you’re damned sick and funny) the art work. Your composition and ingenuity is almost as much fun as wondering what’s going to come out of Abe’s mouth (or any other talking body part) next. Plus, for those of us who don’t live in New York, this is, like, better than reading National Geographic to get a real feel of what life in New York is really like. :)
Great work, Bernie. Yer a genius. Albeit a sick one.
