The “no impaling or eating… on her part” freaked me out!

Is it just my sick mind, or is Theo really implying that…

On a lighter note, the “be my queen” postcard was a nice detail.

Awesome comic!!! I just hope the storyline won’t be on the mom… makes me want to skip panel when I see that mom. :(

Enjoying it immensely, and for munan, I think that Theo isn’t that type of guy to “impale” on the 1st date, just a guess here, it’s only a comic.

Albeit a very funny one.

Oh yes, extremely funny. I was not saying it wasn’t funny. Sick, yet very funny…

Bravo. Loved the last panel especially. Also:

YOU DO NOT SPURN JENNIFER CONNELLY WHEN SHE IS STICKING HER HAND DOWN YOUR PANTS.

Isn’t that the 11th commandment?

Digitaaliklosetti

I actually kind of expected this.

Just curious, how’d you get ‘Abe’ to hang like that in the last panel? Actually hanging the figure, or just photoshop magic?

He wasn’t worked up. The anti-psychotic medicine he was taking made him impotent.

Now we know who was paying more attention to his date than the movie.

You have so completely misinterpreted that scene with Jennifer Connely in bed.

The medications to treat schizophrenia (the condition afflicting John Nash) often have the side effect of killing you sex drive. And when I say “killing”, I mean completely obliterating. It’s mroe effective than cutting a man’s balls off or even the so-called “chemical castration” they use on repeat sex offenders.

That scene was in there to explain why Nash stopped using medication to treat his condition.

I mean, imagine you were in bed with Jennifer Connely, she started putting her hand down your pants, and you had exactly the same response as you would to a doctor snapping on a rubber glover and saying, “Drop your pants and bend over.”

I bet you’d stop taking those medicines pretty quick, too, even if those medicines were all that stood between you and going completely nuts.

High-dose anti-depressants can have that effect too.

:(

That said, I haven’t had Jennifer Connely testing my lack of libido as yet. I’ll drop her a line and ask if she’d be interested – for science.

All I have to say on the Russell Crowe front is: LA Confidential.

No free samples is brilliant

Cinderella Man is an awesome moving about the life of James J. Braddock. It is very well done. It should be on DVD soon.

and Russell Crowe is awesome in Virtuosity

No self respecting Australian would EVER drink Fosters… in fact we can’t work out why anyone would. This should be your first clue to the fact that Russell Crowe is actually from New Zealand… he’s a dick, we don’t want a barr of him.

That being said: Yer comic rocks.

that comic was sooooooo goddamn funny… no wait, correct that… it was HILARIOUS!!!!  omg, i almost wet myself at the last two panels. that would probably be my father if i ever started dating or making out with or doing anything with guys…typical father response…

great comic, bernie!!! btw, is corinna gonna come back anytime soon? that one comic didn’t exactly make it clear if she and pres were still together or not.

Why bother Bernie, you’re just jealous!! What about the movie with him and Denzel Washington where he (Crowe) was the virtual killer that came off of the screen (Sid something)? That was as good as it gets!!

Or Romper Stomper? Or L.A. Confidential?? That dude is a great actor, so what if he’s violent in real life?? People f__k with him all the time.

YOU DO NOT SPURN JENNIFER CONNELLY WHEN SHE IS STICKING HER HAND DOWN YOUR PANTS.

Qualifier. I’d prefer it to be the younger Jennifer Connelly over the older Jennifer Connelly. Back when she had that luscious black hair, full, round breasts, and some meat on her bones. But I wouldn’t turn down the chance either way.

The last frame where it says “no free samples” is the funniest part! I loved it, it was a shame that Abe hung himself…I’m just wondering, how did Abe fit his large not-human head into that noose that was obviously made for a human neck?

krazyrobus
September 27, 2005 at 12:55 am

Too many nasty images in my head. Things such as Theo could probably fit his whole extended family in the queen’s womb. And how he is going to eat….never mind, i’ll leave it be.

No need, there’s bit of a question mark over how Xeno’s breath and if they need air at all! (tubes on the back and all those space and underwater scenes)

This is a stress reaction and as soon as Abe get’s bored hanging from the ceiling he’ll go to a bar and get completely blotto, another great stress reaction!

Can anyone else imagine a drunk, depressed, armored Alien in New York?

Fosters is American for good advertising.

If you look close at the bottles you’ll see in big letters “IMPORTED”… Closer still you’ll see “from Canada”.

Its made by Molson for the US market – and it actually does taste better than Fosters in Australia.

This doesn’t say anything good about it.

This reminds me of the time I got an email from someone about another post of mine, coincidentally also about Australia:

the email wrote:
“Thanks go out to Desmond Seah, a.k.a. Goonigoogoo, of the hilarious comic Bigger Than Cheeses. Gooni’s from Australia, but he’s nice enough to bring you today’s guest spot, and his own comic, in English.”

I have to tell you all… Russell Crowe HAS made ONE good movie. Go to your dvd store and check out “Romper Stomper”. It’s a small budget Aussie film released in 1991. It’s pretty violent and was controversial at the time – you’ll love it.
