So in the past two days ive ready every AlP comic you’ve made, and I’ve gotta say, its incredible. I only lived in NYC for one year (I went to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy on 73rd and B’way), but your comic not only is a clever commentary on well…things that need commenting on, but also reminds me of the all the things I miss about NYC, even the things I wasn’t all that fond of in the first place.

Thanks for this hilarious strip, I hope you continue to do well.

9,000 free hours of AOL? What a deal!

lol, that is the best

May 22, 2006 at 4:29 pm

Ohh! I was actually looking into getting rid of my cable myself ever since I learned the awesomeness of RSS and Bittorrent working together. I only watch a few shows anyway…paying upwards of 70+ dollars a month for 5000 channels that I never watch seems a bit wasteful.

And good comic as usual, Bernie. :D

Fifth of what? And are you sharing?

Abe’s brothers scare me.

Almost as much as 9000 free hours of AOL.

I think he means he’s the fifth to post, sarcastically.

Great stuuf B, I really like the way Abe was bombarding Abe with another topic then tries to just slip in the part about his little brothers coming to stay lol very sly.

Also the ‘Broken Window’ theory i’ve seen that in action it really works.

Again great strip and my best to you and your family.

It always makes me laugh when Abe bugs Pres and ends up getting hit, or dumped in a bin. What rude words have you been teaching your kids then? They learn so fast, next thing you know they’ll be writing online comics….

I knew I wasn’t the only one who thought those AOL CDs were a godsend.

Gasp! Times Square! I was there yesterday!

Looking forward to Zeev and Boris. A lot.

Very funny comic this week, as always! :D

P.S. Hope your wife is better now.

Well, in NYC, free crap is always good. Even if it sucks. Now, we didn’t use the CDS for AOL. However, they’re ReALLY fun to throw at actors, fellow students, etc. that deserve some sliced tendons. try sharpening the edges too, and you’ve almost got yourself a little chakra.

and Broken Window, yes indeed.

I dont want to get into a politics flame here, but I lived on the West Side at the tail end of Rudy’s term, and it was very apparent that bloomberg didnt really have the same beliefs. because things started switching back to the crappy way things used to be before that policy got in place.

-sigh-

the good old (but new) days….

I’m wondering if Zeev and Boris are still color-coded. Can’t wait to find out!

The comic Bernie plugged is actually written by an alumnus of my college, and it’s been running in its paper for about a year now. It’s hilarious, everyone should go check it out.

You can also take off the label of the free 9,000 minutes of AOL CDs with rubbing alcohol and use them as pretty suncatchers. They also work as cheap coasters.

Nice to see the storyline dropping away a little to allow for another NY ep; its nice to have a bit of randomosity now and then

looking at the price…shoot his kid’s education to hell?!?

and isn’t chakra some sort of body energy? :?

other than that: great comic, as always! i really do wonder where you get your creativity, i want some of that!

Nothing to do with this episode in particular, but I’m in Disney World this week and I went on "The Great Movie Ride" at MGM for the first time in years. As a little kid, the section where the car goes through the "Alien" scene always terrified me. Even as I got older, it creeped me out. When I went through yesterday and the alien popped out of the wall, what was the first thing that came to mind? "It’s Abe!"

So thanks for getting me over my fear of Alien! ;)

I believe he is referring to the Chakram, which is an ancient Indian thrown weapon. It’s basically a large metal ring with a sharp edge.

Did I really register just for that…?

*Runs off to get a life*

Great comic btw!
