Classic situation, new characters… Divine!

Edit: Wo-ho! Finaly! *Does the first post dance*

June 5, 2006 at 9:49 am

Whoah, expected more on Zeev and Boris….

This is… quite different…Preston is such a cheat…

June 5, 2006 at 10:03 am

It took me awhile to realize that was a rifle pointed at them a la Elmer Fuddd

Haha, this is certainly different! And splendid as such!

And man, IS it WEIRD to see Abe with eyes! Even if it IS big cartoonish ones. Awesome, yes it is.

Also it had "Bugs and Daffy" debating on who should get shot first.

June 5, 2006 at 10:41 am

Poor, stupid Abe…

June 5, 2006 at 12:44 pm

Wabbit season?!?

June 5, 2006 at 1:25 pm

Bwaaaah hah hah Brilliant! One of the best yet!

June 5, 2006 at 2:28 pm

So, are we to take it that Abe is an illegal alien? I guess that carnivorous extraterrestrials rarely come with passports and entrance visas. Also, though Preston is the Predator, Abe is much more the online pervert type. I can totally see him trawling MySpace for e-jailbait. So Pres wasn’t cheating in the last panel.

June 5, 2006 at 2:40 pm

Hah! Very entertaining. =)

Hehehe. I liked that alot. I feel sorry for Abe, he’s one of lifes great losers; kinda like me, only I dont bleed acid, eat people or look at porn all day……no, wait a minute……

June 5, 2006 at 4:13 pm

This one made me confused at first, but then I got it a few minutes later…

June 5, 2006 at 8:02 pm

Oh, man.
Panel 6? (the one with Abe’s eyes) HYSTERICAL.

Perfect homage of a classic piece of cartoon history.

Well done, Bernie.

June 5, 2006 at 8:22 pm

Gads, not this again. It only reminds me of how cliched this situation is and how badly the original loony toons needs to be brought back.

June 5, 2006 at 9:31 pm

*falls over laughing*
Thanks man, that totally made my day.

June 5, 2006 at 10:47 pm

Nice work here B, liked the internet predators gag.

Keep up the good work.

I laughed when the newscaster said Child predators and Abe still got shot. I’m still laughing matter of fact.

June 6, 2006 at 5:56 am

I’m sure you were joking, but in the name of satire you can use NBC’s images all you want.

That said, this strip used to be smart commentary on life in the city. Now it’s a sitcom about how dumb Abe is. You’re capable of more.

ROTFLMAO! Just awsome!

June 6, 2006 at 6:43 am

Oh I haven’t seen the ol’ rabbit season thing used in other situations until now you sure can bring back a classic and not make it crappy thanks alot man

June 6, 2006 at 11:02 am

[color=green:d2bab55b70]Was absolutly hilarious! The visual refrence along with the announcers comments were right on.

And I love Looney Toons so this was doubly appreciated since that particular episode was one of my favorites.[/color:d2bab55b70]

If anyone wants to see the original Warner Brothers cartoon, click here.

Sadly, I cannot find the two sequels online. They are also classics.

Edit: Bern put the link on the front page as well.

June 6, 2006 at 4:44 pm

Hey thanks man. :D

Um, no, it’s smart commentary about the issue the whole country is stirred up about (no, not gay marriage, that’s just Bush pandering to his base), illegal immigration… aka illegal aliens. Smart satire, *and* Loony Tunes references, dammit!

June 6, 2006 at 7:41 pm

LOL
Any1 in saw in the last panel that Abe was smiling?

Rikugan Chui Bloo
June 6, 2006 at 9:31 pm

Huh. Just now I imagined Abe in the place of the mexicans in Illegal Aliens Vs. Predator. This gives me disturbing images.

June 6, 2006 at 9:37 pm

This has to be the funniest thing I’ve seen in forever. The eyes on Abe after he’s been shot are classic! I mean they’re all funny, but this one was hi-larious.

June 7, 2006 at 12:36 pm

You can legally use there logo as long as your not sayen anything bad about it. They are a public figure and that allows you to put there life on display. You on the other hand are not a public figur and if they did a story about they should have asked permision beforhand. You have to havea pretty good reason as to why you dont want them to use it and damages done by them usen it and you could actually get away with it. Granted you will need an awesome lawyer.

June 7, 2006 at 12:53 pm

hey next time you use something like dateline change it to lateline and skew the face a lil so they cant say you stole it, it was only created in their likeness. by the way forget them they are just looking for a quick way to make money

June 8, 2006 at 1:14 am

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien
I’m an Englishman in New York

Am I the only person here who keeps getting this song stuck in their head because of the immigration flap? (And when I do my taxes too…I’m in the US on a visa, I swear.)

Just for the record, were three posts above mine directed towards me?

Good news: I found Rabbit Seasoning, known for the "Shoot Him Now!" routine.

And I also found the final cartoon in the trilogy, Duck! Rabbit, Duck!.
