I miss Abe & Preston!

May 4, 2011 at 5:01 pm

The hi-res image is only 768×1024, too small for the numbers to be legible, even using a fancy zoom antialiaser.

Which is to say the Ctrl-+ button in firefox.

May 4, 2011 at 5:51 pm

ah finaly im just greatful its something abe and pres havent been updated in months:(

Awesome work Bernie.

One of the first things I noticed is how many of these movies were filmed in Canada. At least 2, 5, 52, 55, 85, 91. (One of those is deliberately wrong.)

I agree with Brandon. Numbers are illegible at this res.

Sorry about the numbered version – I didn’t realize flickr redirects you to the lower-res version if you’re not logged in. So I changed the link to go directly to the image URL (

May 5, 2011 at 9:52 am

Thanks Bernie! I seriously couldn’t tell there were any numbers there until you posted this new link. This is quite a challenge, but really cool. Great job on this!

May 5, 2011 at 10:11 am

Thank you for including not just “Hair”, but the woman in purple with the awesome ‘do. Whenever I see that sequence I become fixated on her. Great job, by the way. Please do one for Brooklyn now.

May 5, 2011 at 11:54 am

yes, one for brooklyn, please! with moonstruck!

A lot of great ones missing, but a TON of great ones represented. I am most happy about “Q”, the Winged Serpent, atop the Chrysler Building. What an obscure one! Quetzacotl! Love it.

Awesome work; a real labour of love. Of course you can’t please everyone, perhaps even anyone. But it is a shame to see turkeys like Serendipity and a Die Hard sequel (they’re all crap) but not After Hours or Saturday Night Fever or My Man Godfrey. Good to see Spiderman stop at 2. Wish Sam Raimi had done so.

I cant believe no one has yet responded with FUCK YOU!. You ruin your awesome webcomic but starting some boring as fuck, never-ending shitty storyline that no one gives a fuck about and then instead of at least finishing it and getting it over and done with you abandon it for months on end and then when you finally post again its with this SHIT. who cares about your fucking shitty little posters. I’m officially deleting the bookmark.
