US-only cultural references confuse a globally-spread audience. Looking up a show on wikipedia to try and get the joke makes it, well, lame.

Oh Dune; you’re making a pretty big assumption that people in the U.S. know what the hell “CA$H CAB” is.

I don’t get it either, but I’m not complaining about it.
