Jedi mind tricks ftw, although, in real life I find they dont actually work. And my lightsabre is just a broken broomhandle- that *does* work… :D
Neil (AoD)March 2, 2010 at 4:59 pm
And second ( cant edit posts )! Deux ex machina- I should have known what that ment; sounds like a manga/ anime character, lol. Viewed in context though, its highly amusing, nice one Bernie. And AVP… looks alright from the reviews so far, but you’ll beat Alien Trilogy on PSone…. ;)

Fuck sake, whats wrong with me this evening- cant type to save my life!
CharlieMarch 2, 2010 at 5:05 pm
I don’t come to ALP to laugh. I come to learn. But the laughing is good too.
StKevMarch 2, 2010 at 5:15 pm
It’s three to one, Charlie.
AntonyMarch 2, 2010 at 8:03 pm
Ooh! Ooh! I hope ‘deus ex machina’ is literal and The Big Man makes an appearance. I would lawl.
phillipMarch 2, 2010 at 9:10 pm
sorry to cut and paste but DEUS EX MACHINA
It is generally considered to be a poor storytelling technique because it undermines the story’s internal logic.
phillipMarch 2, 2010 at 9:13 pm
does this mean you have forgotten where you were going in this really long drawn out joke… if it comes down to a single panel tiger woods joke I will be really unhappy and watch Alien Vs Predator till i go mad!
WoodyMarch 3, 2010 at 7:10 am
That guy looks like a cross between Vincent Vega and Agent Smith!!
I predict some fun forthcoming….
Looking forward to your AVP opinion, Bern!!
StopszMarch 3, 2010 at 9:42 am
Random appearance of the mystery man? Now I’m really curious who he is. He looks like a televangelist.
timMarch 3, 2010 at 9:53 am
@ phillip – Deus Ex Machina would be perfect, because aLp has no internal logic.
jibbleMarch 3, 2010 at 9:40 pm
I really like this comic but this storyline stopped being funny a long, long time ago. Please kill it soon. It started in July for Chrissakes.
Marvin ArnoldMarch 5, 2010 at 5:51 am
Isn’ that Steven Seagal playing Christopher Lambert?
timMarch 5, 2010 at 12:42 pm
jibble – this storyline isn’t about funny. It is a serious treatise on the sad state of aliens’ rights in our alternate timeline nation. The mainstream media doesn’t have the guts to take on such a hot-button topic, but Bernie isn’t afraid.
JimMarch 5, 2010 at 7:42 pm
Yay!! I love this guy. Bernie, you need to tell us who he is!
Is he Gene Simmons of KISS?
Is he the Tall Man from Phantasm?
In that last one, he looks like Karl Malden!
jibbleMarch 6, 2010 at 9:49 pm
fair enough. I’d still like to see it wrap up soon.
lolrodMarch 7, 2010 at 1:06 am
I think that is preston because pres just kinda disapeared after awile
RalneoxMarch 7, 2010 at 1:47 am
I hope we get to see a AVP ALP crossover, that would be so funny! I can see it now . . . Abe asking the xenomorph queen if she wants a king, preston getting shown up by the elite predator, abe hanging with number six . . . etc, etc. I’m no mastermind (though i do have a chair that does a 360 and a fluffy cat) so I’m not that good at funny crap but, ALP? Gotta love it! So many funny jokes. Are there any other internet comics like this? I’ve read anti zombie army and questionable content but I cant find any others.
DinomanMarch 8, 2010 at 11:31 am
Does anybody notice that he is the same guy from the comic when pres and abe talks to the boss of hooters.
