OH… I want that “Ah Hell No” poster on my desktop !!
sledgeSeptember 29, 2009 at 6:05 pm
That poster should be a framed lithograph on my wall
kentonSeptember 29, 2009 at 9:08 pm
Preston isnt wearing his suit
AntonySeptember 29, 2009 at 9:18 pm
Yes. YES. This comic is pure gold.
JoanneSeptember 29, 2009 at 9:20 pm
yes the president is black but it’s not will smith it’s Barack Obama although it might be neat if he was president
FortranSeptember 29, 2009 at 9:23 pm
Ooh ooh! I can be pedantic! Uh…”judgement” is spelled incorrectly. And Mr Williams seems to vary between using periods to end sentences and not. Hmm…
Also, I WANT that “Aw Hell No” poster!
ScullyRaptorSeptember 29, 2009 at 9:35 pm
This definitely got a giggle out of me :D
I’d probably vote for Will Smith.
MimiSeptember 29, 2009 at 11:19 pm
It’s not the bad hyphenation on “conference”?
duneSeptember 30, 2009 at 2:45 am
Robert WorrallSeptember 30, 2009 at 5:08 am
The best I have seen on any webcomic for ages.
WoodySeptember 30, 2009 at 5:11 am
I’d have Will Smith for US President and Jeremy Clarkson for British Prime Minister ANY day!!!
Fantastic inspiration and great references, Bernie. You rock!!!
marvin_arnoldSeptember 30, 2009 at 6:19 am
At last again, and together:
- Preston shirtless!
- political commentary in an AvP comic! (I missed the Clintons!)
- NYC landmarks!
timSeptember 30, 2009 at 8:01 am
“My plan was to come to Hooters.” Perfect vintage Abe. Bernie, you have an amazing talent to sneak up with killer story lines and jokes.
KatherineSeptember 30, 2009 at 8:28 am
I want that poster as well… you sure you can’t just send it to your loyal fans? The legion of your loyal fans?
ChristineSeptember 30, 2009 at 9:42 am
My first thought when I started reading this “Where’s Preston’s suit?!”
ZerolottSeptember 30, 2009 at 10:41 am
Besides Preston’s suit, you should have definitely used a picture from MIB instead of Independence Day.
EzechiehlSeptember 30, 2009 at 11:49 am
Now this is genius
Neil (AoD)September 30, 2009 at 3:30 pm
@ Joanne- no shit sherlock.
Awesome comic, Will Smith gags always crack me up (but Will Smith’s gags are getting a tad old… but still funny none the less to watch).
MCSeptember 30, 2009 at 3:38 pm
“Judgement” is a British spelling accepted all over the world.
The pic is from ID4 (right before he punches, around 0:30):
I’m pretty sure the error he was referring to was the suit.
Daniel LongSeptember 30, 2009 at 11:10 pm
At least let us download that “AW HELL NO” poster! XD
I was in stitches last night, when I first saw this comic… then I kept coming back to it, and it only got funnier… I was breathless!
johnnyoOctober 1, 2009 at 12:04 am
Mistake is that Will Smith’s mouth is closed in panel 5 even though he’s talking?
At least make the aw HELL no icon public on obamicon.me so we can get it put on a coffee mug or something…
JohnOctober 1, 2009 at 1:38 am
^^^ Actually it is really common for a still to look like the mouth is closed while someone is talking. Pedantic!
This comic has been the funniest in a while! So good!
holokaustosOctober 1, 2009 at 8:34 pm
1. He can’t make the poster officially available, because it would infringe on the intellectual property rights of 20th Century Fox (for the movie ‘Independence Day’) and Will Smith.
2. He can’t sell a poster of something he created from the use of another website’s (PasteMagazine.com) proprietary tools. Again, refer to the aforementioned ‘intellectual property rights’ scenario.
3. I know what the obvious mistake that Bernie made on the comic is: posting it.
heulphaboOctober 1, 2009 at 9:00 pm
Preston never had two sets of claws
NevrenceOctober 2, 2009 at 2:07 am
I dont think the mistake is Preston’s suit. I think he was takin off the suit in the last comic, so he prolly finished takin it off once he got inside.
JohnnyOctober 2, 2009 at 5:02 am
haha the tvs showing the wrong thing on the last panel?
TorqueOctober 2, 2009 at 1:35 pm
AWW HELL NAW
HarmonyOctober 2, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Best comic in ages. And I’m in no way saying that the others were bad, ’cause they were great. I’m saying that this one reaches genuine belly-laugh levels of fantasticness. Aw Hell, yeah!
Neil (AoD)October 2, 2009 at 2:09 pm
@ Johnny- nope the speech bubble is clearly coming from another tv that is out of shot.
2 sets of wrist blades though, interesting…
ScottOctober 3, 2009 at 3:07 pm
Oh a laugh riot. The exact reason reason why I come here to your comic.
The thing missed? Well I see Preston is no longer wearing his monkey suit. Is that the glitch?
KurtzOctober 4, 2009 at 1:30 am
That was definitely one of the best there. I laughed pretty hard.
PaulOctober 5, 2009 at 5:51 am
Awesome comic. That “Aw hell no” scene is priceless.
Aaron HongOctober 6, 2009 at 12:16 pm
I can’t believe nobody spotted it.
It’s spelled ‘reiterated’.
scott evilOctober 18, 2009 at 4:35 am
how bout the tv host is partially obscured by the ‘racist’ graphic ??
ps this is the best episode in a long time. cheers for all the hard work, its a pleasure to visit A & P
MCMarch 3, 2010 at 11:36 am
It’s spelled: judgment
MCMarch 3, 2010 at 11:39 am
But apparently, judgement is an acceptable variant. :)
I change my vote to A Hong’s ‘reiterated’.
ZekeMarch 30, 2011 at 9:26 pm
I definitely want one of those “aw hell no” posters for my room.
ErinApril 13, 2011 at 12:48 pm
I TOTALLY want an “aw hell no” poster! <3 this comic
The secret to snowboarding is to get up more times than you fall down – Alex Soojung-Kim Pang, Ph.D.May 30, 2016 at 10:54 pm
[...] At one point I discovered, no kidding, that it helped to imagine Will Smith shouting “Aw Hell no!” when I was starting to wobble. And, while my shoulders are sore and I really don’t [...]
