wow double entendres anyone? and not even good ones either…..damn you bill clinton for making "inalienable rights" sexual!

Also, ditto on the no more attack ads thing. It’s to the point where i mute commercials in MA rather than just tuning them out. The amusing thing is Deval Patrick doesn’t even have to run a campaign, Kerry Healey’s attack ads are so bad. It’s like her positive ad shows the good parts of her issues, and her attack ads……bounce off and hurt her. nice.

Been awhile since my last post, but I had to for this. Very awesome. I love euphamisms and double meanings. Makes life more interesting.

This kind of reminded me of a list of the worst pickup lines ever.
Example: "Wanna play Pearl Harbor? It’s the game where I lay back and you blow the hell out of me."

Happy "No More F**king Ads Day" B

I live in NYC and last week I was in Philly – wonderful city. It was so refreshing to be in a state where I wasn’t voting. I could actually enjoy the unintentional humor of all the smear ads. My biggest complaint is that Rick Santorum ran out of money. I really wanted to see his ads. I gleefully pointed out every one of his campaign signs I saw. I stopped what I was doing each time the cow commercial came on. (it was about Fiztsomethingorother being part of the herd) The cows were great, they chewed and mooed on cue. And then there was the "Liberal Lois" one. I decided that "Liberal Lois" was my BFF. I pointed out all of her campaign signs too. Every year I am going to travel the week before election day. It’s funny when you aren’t vested.

Although I agree with the awesome potential it carries for double meaning, Rodham is not her middle name: it’s her maiden name.

Heh, I love how Abe and Preston greet Bill like any of their friends.

"Hey Bill."

At last no more ads! NO more mudslinging! Now i can watch TV in peace!

I still wish Lieberman hadn’t won though.

Haha, nice one, really nice

Is Pres holding Abe’s tail in the last frame?

I knew they were close, but….

November 8, 2006 at 5:00 am

That was bloody hilarious. The best one in a while (which is quite an achievement with the lol-arious audition story line).

In the Netherlands, elections are also underway and boy am I happy I’m not in the country until they are almost over. I hate campaigning time. There should be a law against pushy politicians…

November 8, 2006 at 5:48 am

lol… double entendres galore :D

i gotta admit though, abe and i have the same outlook on mid-term elections   wonder what that makes me…

that’ll never happen. the politicians make the laws :D

and isn’t the phrase "pushy politicians" a bit redundant?

November 8, 2006 at 8:56 am

As Bill would no doubt say:

"pushy politicians" can never be "redundant"…

Also, if Abe has the right to vote, he can not be an alien, right?

makes me proud not to be an american *tear rolls down check*

no, it just means he is not an illegal alien.

November 9, 2006 at 5:13 am

No no, even a legal alien can not vote in national elections. You have to be nationalised to be able to do that.

Also, after all the "Abe is so stupid" comments, I thought "I’m gonna vote agains whoever you vote for, so it’s like we never voted at all" was pretty smart…

November 9, 2006 at 7:40 am

you see, Abe’s not smart enough to check up on the issues or what each canidate says they’ll do. He’ll just pick randomly or of spite. I love the idea that voting can be used to get back at someone.

I dont know why but I kinda think thats how ‘big willy’ would be in real life, and the expressions bernie captures of him are brilliant, really bringing the character to life. As for euphomisms, Im probably even worse than that, which makes it all the more funnier to read. Screw america, god bless you Bernie, you are the greatest!

November 9, 2006 at 9:32 am

Apparently in Wisconsin you can just waltz in and register ON election days, as long as you have a Social Security Number (it’s like a national ID number but more useless, fyi for other readers not in the US). In 2004 when I heard about that, I wanted to have a go, but my American friends pointed out that I could get my ass deported if they caught me…

Ooh ooh almost forgot:

I’m an alien, I’m a legal alien
I’m an Englishman in New York

Yes, I was thinking of that song as well.
