I’m all for mixing things up with one-offs and longer stories. The current story is too long and took forever to start going anywhere, in my opinion. I mean, it’s a year old. I really liked the Jesus baseball story among others. I like this comic a lot, I just would like to see it return to its former glory.

About the movie: I’m with Nn here. It was a little too predictable, what with the obvious bad guy of the group being such a whacko and the true bad guy starting to roll his eyes and (almost) drool as soon as he exposed himself.
I must admit, I kept expecting that this would turn out as some sort of adventurous dream of Adrian Brody, who’d really work as a librarian or something. He looks more like a nerd than a tough soldier-boy.

Hey, I like both the serials and the one-shots, so long as its funny. And you manage to keep the funny in the serials so that’s okay. Basically, do whatever you feel like because if you start doing stuff you don’t want to do, it wont be funny anymore. Don’t just don’t get Later Season syndrome like Friends and other sit coms where writers get so close to their characters it gets intricate and boring for everyone else (yes, I’m putting AlP in the sitcom category with Friends, Frasier, et al. What?).

Love both the continuing storyline and the break with the one-off. Hey, I’m patient, the weekly webcomic format just makes it seem much more drawn out, if reading these page-after-page the pacing is fine. I understand it takes time to do what you do, so stop apologizing and just do it you way!!!
