I think it’s a goddamn shame that it took this long to change the opening of The Simpsons, and that the change was so minor. Japanese animated series average one opening and ending credits change per season. Of course those are generally dramatic animated series, so the president might be different. On that subject why the hell don’t we have any dramatic animated series on TV anymore? I remember MTV’s Liquid Television with a great deal of fondness. The Maxx and Aeon Flux were the shiz!
