I’m with LOL.
I lived near an elementary school on Manhattan’s East Side (78 & York) during the time Madonna and Micheal Jackson were having enormous hits on radio and MTV. It was the height of creepy to see little girls in corsets over their clothes and little boys in capes and single gloves. You know how teachers take whole classes for walks single file? Maybe half were dressed that way.
Look around you, that generation is in their mid-twenties now.
How’s that for edgy?
