I believe he is referring to the Chakram, which is an ancient Indian thrown weapon. It’s basically a large metal ring with a sharp edge.

Nothing to do with this episode in particular, but I’m in Disney World this week and I went on "The Great Movie Ride" at MGM for the first time in years. As a little kid, the section where the car goes through the "Alien" scene always terrified me. Even as I got older, it creeped me out. When I went through yesterday and the alien popped out of the wall, what was the first thing that came to mind? "It’s Abe!"

So thanks for getting me over my fear of Alien! ;)

The comic Bernie plugged is actually written by an alumnus of my college, and it’s been running in its paper for about a year now. It’s hilarious, everyone should go check it out.

You can also take off the label of the free 9,000 minutes of AOL CDs with rubbing alcohol and use them as pretty suncatchers. They also work as cheap coasters.

Well, in NYC, free crap is always good. Even if it sucks. Now, we didn’t use the CDS for AOL. However, they’re ReALLY fun to throw at actors, fellow students, etc. that deserve some sliced tendons. try sharpening the edges too, and you’ve almost got yourself a little chakra.

and Broken Window, yes indeed.

I dont want to get into a politics flame here, but I lived on the West Side at the tail end of Rudy’s term, and it was very apparent that bloomberg didnt really have the same beliefs. because things started switching back to the crappy way things used to be before that policy got in place.
