Have another from someone with only an obscure website….

When a friend aimed me at aLp, I started reading reluctantly; living halfway across the country from NYC, and never having set foot in it, I expected to find it as funny as I do most NYC-centric humor (read: not at all). Saying I was (and remain) pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I know I don’t get all the jokes in the way someone there would, but I find I enjoy them almost every time regardless. ‘Your mom likes it rough from this turnstile’ is a good example of that – probably not funny to me in the same way as it would be if I had to deal with those turnstiles every damn day, but it definitely made me laugh.

Then there’s my personal favorite, Pres’ favorite word. Some things are just universal. :lol:
