Hey-row all of you people out there in the great wide net! Whats up you ask? This comic strip thats what! I have been with ALP since the first episode and I gata tell ya this one is the best. I can relate to playing football in the snow. I once played a 25 second game due to the fact that mother nature decided not to let us find our ball in the 4 ft of snow (the bitch).

In informal football games like this (not the pros), the defense has to count to a number (usually seven) before they rush the quarterback. Otherwise, the defense could just toss the quarterback the ball and then instantly tackle him. In pro football, the quarterback has a bunch of guys in front of him to protect him, so you don’t do that.

ha ha, that’s actually funny, but funnier still is the fact that I’ve never physically seen snow in person. Only on tv and movies. Yeah the desert sucks, but you probably hate the snow as well.

I remember that we did that a few years back in Central Park after a big snowstorm. We managed to recruit a few people and elicit a few “What are they thinking?” stares. But it was really, really fun. When you’re wrapped in two jackets, a hat, gloves so you can barely throw the football (or at least as effectively as Roethlisberger) and can get tackled by a scarf, it’s a load of fun.

Oh yeah, and going after someone after each play just for the sake of it, it’s a good thing.
